One day legal awareness training was organized for the tribal leaders of selected hamlets in Mananthavady taluk at Pavana centre, Mananthavady on 17th October 2026. Ms Meenakshi Raman, Mananthavady Block Panchayath President inaugurated the training program. Adv. Fr. Stephen Mathew, Ms Flaisy Jose and Ms Surya S Binu were the resource persons. Classes were mainly on POCSO Act, Child marriage prohibition Act, Domestic Violence Act and mental health of women. Mr Chandran M. K organized the program. 46 persons participated in the program.
